The team you know as CR Team now operates as CR Global Assurance. Same auditors, same values, same certificates — with a name that reflects the regional, multi-standard assurance work we do every day.

For years, factories, brands and training participants across Bangladesh knew us as CR Team Ltd — or simply CR Team — at crteam.org. Today we operate as CR Global Assurance, often shortened to CR Global, at crglobalassurance.com. This article explains why we changed the name, what stays exactly the same, and what clients can expect from CR Global Assurance going forward.

Why CR Team became CR Global Assurance

CR Team started in Uttara, Dhaka as a specialist in social and environmental compliance for the ready-made garment (RMG) sector. As our clients' supply chains grew, so did the scope of our work: Higg FEM and SLCP verification, ISO management system certification, C-TPAT security audits, chemical and ETP audits, GHG accounting, ESG reporting and accredited training. We now support clients from offices in Dhaka, Lahore and Tirupur, serving Bangladesh, Pakistan and India.

The name CR Global Assurance describes that work more accurately:

  • CR — Corporate Responsibility, the foundation CR Team was built on.
  • Global — buyers, standards and supply chains that cross borders.
  • Assurance — independent, impartial audit, verification and certification that brands and regulators can rely on.

What stays the same

Changing a name does not change who does the work. If you have worked with CR Team before, you will deal with the same people and the same processes at CR Global Assurance:

  • The same auditors, verifiers and trainers, with the same qualifications and sector experience.
  • The same impartiality and confidentiality commitments, including our complaints and appeals process.
  • Existing certificates remain valid for their stated period. Any certificate issued by CR Team Ltd or CR Global Assurance can be checked on our certificate verification page.
  • Training records and LMS access continue through the CR Global Assurance LMS portal.

What is new at CR Global

The rebrand comes with a broader, clearer service structure. CR Global Assurance groups its work into five families:

  1. Verification services — Higg FEM verification and SLCP verification for apparel and footwear facilities.
  2. ISO management system auditing & certification — ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, ISO 50001, ISO 27001, ISO 28000, ISO 13485 and ISO 20000-1.
  3. Environmental services — environmental conformity assessment, environmental CoC audits, chemical management audits, energy & water audits, ETP audits, Zero Waste to Landfill certification, environmental parameter testing, EIA and EMP.
  4. Sustainability, social and security services — ESG reporting, GHG accounting, social CoC and social conformity assessments, C-TPAT and supply chain security management.
